Celtic Gladiator heads to York Hall in London for its 10th event. Watch it live here from 7pm UK time tonight (4th November).
Przemyslaw Mysiala vs Jose Daniel Toledo Canellas
The Celtic Gladiator 10 main event sees one of the UK’s longest serving light-heavyweights take on an explosive and dynamic opponent.
Przemyslaw ‘Misiek’ Mysiala has been in and amongst the UK’s top 10 for around a decade, with victories over the likes of Arunas Andriuskevicus, Anthony Rea and Ross Pointon, he has consistently faced top opposition in his career.
With bouts in Bellator, CWFC, BAMMA and more, there’s no doubt he has the elite level experience that his 19-9-1 record shows.
As a Polish fighter with his home in London, expect ‘Misiek’ to bring good support on the night.
Canellas has fought in enemy territory before in the UK and Denmark, as well as his home in Spain.
He is a true kill-or-be-killed type fighter, who comes to knock his opponents out or go out on his shield trying.
He has three big KOs to his credit, and he’ll hope he can add another to his resume against his toughest opponent to date.
Can the aggression overcome experience?
Krzyszstof Kulak vs Vincent del Guerra
Also on the main card is a battle between two exciting and experienced weltwerweights.
Poland’s Krzyszstof ‘Model’ Kulak (26-15-2) has featured on Celtic Gladiator twice before, posting a 2-0 record.
He has also fought extensively on some of Europe’s biggest shows, including KSW and Fight Festival.
Kulak has shared the ring and cage with many of the world’s top fighters, including Alexander Gustafsson, Igor Araujo and Alexey Oleinik.
19 of his 26 victories have finished within the distance, 14 by submission.
His opponent, Vincent del Guerra (24-16), is also no stranger to top level shows and opposition.
He has taken on top names all around Europe, and is always ready to step up where others won’t.
His kill-or-be-killed style has seen him finish 21 of his 24 victories, and he will be coming from France to prove himself against a proven elite European fighter.
This bout is another addition to a strong card for Celtic Gladiator’s first UK show, with the Celtic Gladiator World Tour underway.
Tomasz Gargula vs Shaun Lomas
Another of the featured bouts at Celtic Gladiator 10. Two very experienced strikers in a battle that will surely deliver in the entertainment stakes.
Tomasz Gargula is a well recognised professional boxer in Poland with an 18-3-1 record.
Gargula returned to the ring last year, and is now set to make his cage debut.
Having had an interest in mixed martial arts for years, he will finally bring his desire to compete in the new combat sport a reality.
Welcoming him will be the exceptionally experienced and tough Shaun Lomas, a veteran of over 100 MMA bouts, with countless outings across other combat sports, including Muay Thai and boxing.
A real road warrior, Lomas had a great run in 2016, submitting a BJJ brown belt in Dez Parker, and stopping heavyweight Paul Taylor in their bout.
Gargula’s hands have to be respected – indeed feared – but Lomas never takes a backwards step or shirks any fight.
The Polish man will have to be wary of the kicks and ever-improving grappling ability of his opponent, and it makes for a great stylistic matchup.
It adds to a very strong card that includes Mysiala vs. Canellas, Grimshaw vs. Khampasath, and Del Guerra vs. Kulak.
Ash Grimshaw vs Souk Khampasath
Ash Grimshaw of Team Titan MMA GYM has been one of the best featherweights in Europe for many years, and the Londoner is looking for a big victory on home turf.
Frenchman Souk Khampasath is as game as they come and has 3 wins from his last 4 outings. These guys have 22 finishes from their combined 25 victories.
