UCMMA supremo Dave O'Donnell will be hosting a casting call this weekend for US Reality Show Warrior Island.
Press Release: Global Proving Ground (GPG), a new revolutionary platform that enables combat sports athletes to showcase their skills on a global level, announced today that they will be partnering with former Cage Rage Presenter and current UCMMA Promoter Dave O'Donnell to host an official UK casting call in search of British contestants for the upcoming MMA based reality TV show "Warrior Island.".
The exciting new series produced by James Jefferson and Directed by Hollywood veteran Ben Perry, will put 16 elite fighters on an island in the Pacific Ocean. Each week the fighters will battle one another to stay on the island and compete for international stardom, as well as a half a million dollar grand prize.

The first official Warrior Island casting call to be held outside of the United States will be held this Saturday September the 8th at the prestigious Troxy Theater in London, England during UCMMA's "White Collar MMA 6." Potential contestants will enter the cage between the prelim and main card intermission to tryout and showcase their skills in front of a sold out crowd in hopes of being selected.
Auditions are open to martial artists of all weight classes, forms and disciplines, not just MMA fighters. Anyone in the London area this weekend interested in being considered should email Dave O'Donnell at Dave@UCMMA.com with a short bio, your martial arts background, weight class and contact info. Call backs will be held periodically throughout the rest of the week and winners will be selected to begin filming on location February 1st 2013.
