Denver – Colorados Andrei Purakovsky Tampa did not travel with the team on Sunday after being injured in an avalanche 7-0 defeat at Lightning in the second leg of the Stanley Cup final on Saturday.
Coach Jared Bedner said Purokovsky was still being evaluated and would join the avalanche in Tampa on Monday. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
