“At this point, while Harmony’s remains have yet to be found, we have several sources of investigative information, including recently confirmed biological evidence, that have led us to this difficult and tragic conclusion. As a result, I am announcing today that this is now officially a homicide investigation and our investigators will continue to seek justice.” Farmella said they will look into the circumstances of Harmony’s murder and look for her remains.
“We understand this is truly devastating news for Harmony’s family, friends and loved ones, and our hearts go out to them. It’s devastating news for the city of Manchester, for our state and for everyone who has followed this story. It’s moving toward reconciliation and justice for all who loved her,” Farmella said.
“This girl’s murder is connected to the person or persons who committed this heinous act. The Manchester Police Department will do everything within the limits of the law to ensure that the person or persons responsible for the homicide are brought to justice,” said Manchester Police Chief Alan Altenberg.
