New AmsterdamThe final chapter of began with a surprising announcement: Max left the hospital to work for the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. In the final scene of the show, New Amsterdam’s new medical director talks to his employee and reveals that he is Luna, a major step in his plan to spend more time with his daughter Luna. Charged and starring Molly Griggs (The servant, the prodigal son) in the near future!
In the present tense, Max’s decision to take a new job abruptly ends his relationship with Elizabeth Wilder. But Max was determined to make Luna the center of his life, even if it meant giving up everything she loved, he told Elizabeth. He reassures her when he hands her the keys to New Amsterdam will do Come back, it won’t make it to the hospital. But technically, he is There is Single, so hope for #Sharpwin? (More on that below.)
Elsewhere in the series, Iggy and Martin remarry in a ceremony with only a small family to celebrate; Vanessa reached out to Lauren at the NA crowd; And Floyd finally convinced a woman who wanted to stay in New York.
