NEW YORK (WABC) — The Powerball jackpot continues to soar and break records ahead of Monday night’s drawing.
The grand prize is now $1.9 billion with a cash option of $929.1 million for the next drawing.
No ticket matched all six numbers drawn on Saturday night’s Powerball jackpot – the white balls 28, 45, 53, 56, 69 And the red Powerball 20. The power play multiplier was 3X.
Although there was no jackpot-winning ticket, more than 10.9 million tickets were entered in Saturday’s drawing to win a total of $102.2 million in cash prizes.

Big winners included 16 tickets (CA-3, CO-2, FL, GA, KY, MA, MI, MO, NJ, NY, PA-2, SD) that matched all five white balls and won the $1 million prize. A ticket in Kentucky matched all five white balls and added a power play option, earning an extra $1 per play and a $2 million prize.
Nationwide, 219 tickets won the $50,000 prize and another 51 tickets won the $150,000 prize.
The Powerball jackpot hasn’t been won in three months.
Monday’s drawing was the 41st Powerball drawing since the last jackpot was won on Aug. 3 in Pennsylvania. Jackpot Run has tied the game record for the number of consecutive drawings without a grand prize winner. Another Powerball jackpot streak ended on October 4, 2021, with a $699.8 million win in California, reaching 41 consecutive drawings.
The new jackpot tops the previous record prize of $1.586 billion won in 2016 by three Powerball players from California, Florida and Tennessee.
Powerball is played in 45 states, Washington, DC, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
